Explicit Photos Surface of Anthony Weiner, Should He Resign?

Representative Anthony Weiner has taken a two-week break from Congress so he can enter a treatment program.  For what?

We can guess he has some form of sexual addiction based on the nude photos that surfaced over the weekend of the Weiner posing in front of a mirror and taking his own photo to send to women over the internet.  Has he broken any laws?  Were all the women who  received his naked photos of age?  Or are there still some out there who might come forward who are under age?

I guess that is the question.  Do we want Representatives in office who lie to the public and then we find out they have done worse than they admitted.  He has been in Congress for 7 terms, I think that is long enough to know the rules.  The man definitely has a problem if he can’t stop sending photos of himself to women who are not his wife.

Now the President has stepped in and said if it were him, he would resign.  “Remember those words”.  Anthony Weiner needs to talk to his wife before he steps down and she will be back today from her trip with Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.  Maybe she can meet him at the “treatment center” and discuss his options.  She needs to take care of herself due to her early pregnancy and she doesn’t need this stress in her life now.  But Anthony Weiner didn’t think about his wife, he was too much into himself and his addiction so he kept sending those photos.

Personally, I don’t want a representative who can’t keep his clothes on and who wants to take photos of himself.  I want someone who has some moral values and doesn’t misrepresent himself to the public.  Yes Anthony Weiner should resign because the scandal is the most important part of this story.  Weiner has lost his effectiveness, because the scandal is taking front and center.

Concentrate on your addiction and your wife.  It will take a while to get over this proclivity of yours and you need all the time and focus on your life not on the scandal.

Sexting And Politicians. The Truth?

By now you have heard that Representative Anthony Weiner admitted he tweeted his private  implict photos to a college coed, and that yes he has sent other photos via his phone and engaged in lewd discussions on Facebook with many women.  But it took him a week before he admitted the truth.  Why?

Personally, I believe Anthony Weiner thought all of us were dumb when it came to social media.  It takes two to send a direct message on Twitter, and yes that means that both parties must have accepted the other as friends.  A Hacker can’t do that.

The fact that he said he wasn’t going to resign and that he hasn’t broken any laws reminds of John Edwards who just said almost the same thing a few day earlier when he was indicted for using campaign funds to cover up the existence of his mistress while he was running for office.

Okay, how many of us believe both of these guys belong in public office?  How about none of us!  The public trust has been broken and lost fellows.  You lost us the minute you denied your part in the scandals and then had to admit it.  We are not going to buy anything else you say.

Representative Weiner has been called on to resign by the many in Congress.  I think he should.  He needs to devote time to rehab for his possible sexual addiction to sending pictures of himself to women he doesn’t know.  He also needs to explain to his wife, what was going on in his world and why he did this!

Once again the powerful feel that they can lie to the public and get away with it.  Guess again, we caught you and we don’t like it.  We have not lost all of our values in this country even though some like to think we have, running around on your wife and sexting with college age women is not acceptable.

Resign Representative Weiner and face the facts that you need help!  John Edwards tried to get his mistress to marry him, and she said no.  He didn’t want her to testify against him.  Good for her that she saw through that veil of hypocrisy.
