Penn State Students Will Wear Blue To Honor Victims– Hey They Woke UP!

Last night on HLN it was announced that Penn State Students will wear blue on Saturday to honor the Victims of Jerry Sandusky during the Football Game with Nebraska. All I can say is IT IS ABOUT TIME THEY WOKE UP!

The riot that the country observed the other night was about a bunch of spoiled kids showing their anger over the trustees doing the right thing by firing Paterno and the school president.  These Penn State Students should march on Jerry Sandusky’s home and shout outside of his home all night.

Contributions raised on Saturday for victims of child abuse should be diverted to this victims of Jerry Sandusky who will be in therapy for many years as they fight depression and addiction issues because of what he did to them.

The abuse brought on to these poor boys by this coach was unthinkable and there is no one who can ever begin to think what the parents and the boys are going through with the aftermath that he has given to them.

It is about time that Penn State Woke UP and the rest of the Colleges around this country to the abuse that can happen.  I do not believe in putting coaches on pedestals.  They are men and human.  We all make mistakes and yes we can all be forgiven for those mistakes.  But turning your backs on children being abused is not one mistake that I can forgive too easily.

Children are defenseless and they need to be protected. I keep asking myself, why that young man who is now an assistant coach didn’t tackle Jerry Sandusky in the shower and put that little boy in an ambulance right then and call the police.   I just get angry thinking about how he could have protected that little boy and he didn’t.  Well none of them did, so I have no forgiveness now for any of them.  Maybe in a few years, but not now.

My heart goes out to those parents and those boys who need help and therapy to overcome this abuse.

Southern California Father Throws Son Off Tour Boat!

Just when we thought bad parenting couldn’t get any worse, we had a father yesterday, tell his son to stop crying and after hitting him several times, according to witness, threw his 7 year-old-son off from the boat in busy Newport Harbor in Orange County, California.

This is a tour boat that takes people around the harbor so they can see mansions occupied and once occupied by celebrities like John”Duke” Wayne.

If the Duke had been alive yesterday, he would have jumped off his deck and whacked this dad, Sloane Briles, 35, of Irvine, California.  There would not have been any need for authorities, the Duke would have hit him once, and that would have been all she wrote.  What a shame when you need the Duke, he is watching from above.

This story was featured on one of the local TV news programs last night, and they actually caught up to the father, and he claimed that he and his son were “horsing around” .  He claimed he held his son off from the boat and his son jumped into the water.

According to witnesses and the 911 calls, that is not what happened, and they were very clear that the father was abusing his son on the boat by hitting him.  He then took him to the bow of the boat and threw him off.  In the busy harbor anyone could have hit the small child not to mention the tour boat could have hit him with the prop.

The authorities said three boats came to the rescue of the child and pulled him out after his father jumped in to save him.

The Orange County sheriff was called and their boat arrived and had to physically wrestle the father to the ground to subdue him to take him into custody.  Witnesses said he had been drinking and appeared intoxicated.

The child was released  to his mother along with his 6-year-old brother who was also on the boat.  The father and the mother are divorced.  The father had been in an argument with his girl friend on the boat when the 7-year-old started crying about the argument.

The father has been charged with felony child endangerment and resisting arrest, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said. He was released Monday in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Hot Sauce & Cold Shower Mom Found Guilty of Child Abuse!

Back in February of this year, I blogged about a parent, Jessica Beagley, 36,  in Alaska who had been on the Dr. Phil Show for questionable parenting techniques using Hot Sauce and Cold Showers to punish her adopted 7-year-old son.  Yesterday she was found guilty of child abuse in Alaska courts. The video above is just a short amount of time of what was shown on the show.  It is difficult to watch and to hear the little boy’s cries.

During the course of the trial, it was revealed that she had submitted two tapes to the Dr. Phil show.  One was not deemed appropriate for the show.  The second showing the Hot Sauceing of her son in his mouth and the cold shower was what they were looking for and she made the show for questionable parenting techniques.  This is makes me even madder to know that she put her son through this so she could make a television show for her quick 15 minutes of fame.

This “fame” has now brought her a guilty verdict which could carry with it a year in jail, and the loss of her children, just so she could be on the Dr. Phil show?  What about the abuse of her adopted 7-year-old son from Russia?  His agony and his pain is unjustifiable.

I would hope that Dr. Phil show producers did not suggest to this woman that she go back and produce a better tape so she could be on the show.    The Television show fame game is taking over our country and it is not pretty, when it involves children and the price they are paying for an adult to have “fame”.

Hustler Offers Casey Anthony $500,000 to Pose Nude in Magazine.

Larry Flint, publisher of Hustler Magazine told HLN’s Nancy Grace that he would offer Casey Anthony $500,000 to pose nude in the magazine.  The offer does not include an interview.

The Anthony “camp”dismissed the story as “nonsense”.  Flint said the offer includes 10% of the profits which he said is chicken feed to whatever the Networks might offer her for an interview.  Flint was also promoting his new book, “One Nation under Sex” as he is touring the country.

Many men have approached Flint about seeing Anthony in her “birthday suit”, according to a story from CNN.

Flint says he will also share profits with Child Abuse charities.    Hugh Hefner said he has been approached by many men who want to see Anthony nude as well, but Hef has said he will not offer Anthony anything, because of the negative publicity he would receive.

Flint is not afraid of controversy so he is serious about the photo shoot, I saw the interview on Nancy Grace and on the Joy Behar show.  It will be interesting to see what Casey does.  She evidently is not very modest when it comes to partying at nightclubs and drinking,  and she does need the money.  This would be right up her alley, to pose nude.

Where Was the Justice For Caylee Anthony?

Many people are asking where was the justice for Cayee Anthony after the jury reached the verdict in the trial for her mother of  not guilty of murder or of child abuse?  Where is the Justice for this precious child who lost her life? How did she lose her life? That fact is lost in Casey Anthony’s mind and we may never know the truth.

The defense told a story about a drowning and the jury was so confused they didn’t know what was the truth. The prosecution tried to show what happened to Caylee, but the jury had made up their mind they were going to believe that Casey’s defense of misdirection.  Many people are calling this trial OJ#2. A Miscarriage of justice once again.

George and Cindy Anthony left the courtroom and released a statement through a spokesperson saying they thought the jury did a fair job.  Will they let Casey back into the home? I hope not. After the pain and heartache she has caused, I hope they let her go and live her life somewhere else and let them live their life alone without her lies.

They did what they needed to do as parents and their job is done, but now they can get on with their lives and not have it filled with Casey’s stories of deception.

Casey’s web of deception has taken a terrible toll. The Prosecutor, Jeff Ashton has announced his retirement. He had fought so hard for this precious child, but in the end, the jury did not see a reasonable way of death for it to be Casey. Maybe they didn’t see that she murdered her child, but what did they think was going on for 31 days of not knowing where her daughter was?

In most people’s books, that is against the law and would have been a charge of child abuse. But Jose Baez had them convinced that big bad George did something.  I don’t think George did anything except love his Grandchild.  What a tragedy of justice not carried out for this little girl.

Casey Anthony Not Guilty of Murder, But Guilty of Giving False Information To Police!

The Prosecution did not have enough to convict Casey Anthony of murder, but yes she lied to the police. Give me a break! We all knew that, but where is the justice for Caylee??

What happened to Caylee?? Will we ever know how this precious child died? Just because the jury didn’t find her guilty doesn’t mean she didn’t have something to do with her death!  There will never be many of us convinced that her body wasn’t in that trunk.

Her father and mother will never be the same. Casey threw them under the bus and didn’t care. I feel for them and their heartache.

Was justice served? Many of us don’t think so!
