Watching Casey Anthony yesterday for just a few minutes on HLN‘s Nancy Grace last night, you could see that she was under extreme stress as she was preening with her hair and wiping the table over and over, until she finally dissolved into tears and was helped out of the courtroom.
It could be that the fear of what is happening is finally getting to her and the reading of the murder charges over and over as the jury panel coming into the courtroom is taking it’s toll on her emotions. She is acting like a caged animal.
She reminds me of an elephant at the zoo, rocking back and forth and pushing her hair back and forth like an elephant does with its trunk trying to get air over its shoulders. Perhaps Casey feels like she is caught in her own trap and can’t get out. What a shame that her little daughter had no escape either. Caylee however is dead and has no one to fight for her, like Casey who has a truckload of lawyers and expert witnesses to keep her from going to death row.
Casey Anthony brought all of this on herself and now has no one to blame but her own actions. Had she called the police and reported her daughter missing like most of us as soon as she was gone, then perhaps this case might have had a better ending. But if this little girl, Caylee did die at her mother’s hands then, she never did have a chance, and then Casey is getting what is justice for what was done to an innocent child.
